Current projects / partnerships include facilitating community events and services for the Montclair Village Association (in Oakland), hosting house concerts and public performances at the Ivy Room (in Albany) and moderating the Northern California House Concert Host network and Bay Area House Concerts MeetUp group.

Family Dog Walkers provides high quality care to canine companions in need of play dates, day care and/or boarding services. We operate from a spacious home near Lake Temescal in Oakland, CA and specialize in exercising and socializing our canine clients so they can be as happy, healthy and well-adjusted as possible. All have registered licenses in their city of residence and maintain current vaccinations for Bordetella, DA2PP, Leptospirosis and Rabies. Family Dog Walkers has a five star rating on Yelp, is properly licensed by the City of Oakland, permitted by the East Bay Regional Park and bonded / insured by Pet Sitters Associates. Our Pack Leaders and Captains are graduates of dog*biz Dog Walking Academy, which means we have been formally trained in dog behavior, learning theory, walking techniques and dog first aid.

Montclair Village Association is a nonprofit business improvement district located in the hills of Oakland, CA. It exists to support the merchant members through marketing and promotional efforts, advocacy, technical assistance, safety and improvement projects and management of the City of Oakland's parking garage.

At one point I represented the district as a bank branch manager but now it's as a local business owner and community organizer. Off and on I've served approximately 10 years of board service, including as president. The most recent term concluded in June, 2024.
